In United States, Structured settlements have a sequence of specific payments made over a period of time. When there is emergency for money, a person can sell structured settlements. The whole structured settlement can be sold for a lump sum amount or it can also be sold in part. Before deciding to sell structured settlements, it is necessary to understand the terms and conditions of the settlement. Some structured settlements cannot be sold earlier for lump sum amount.
